Activities:
AWAM's programs focus on Lobbying and Advocacy and Training and Education to prevent violence against women.

In their Legal Information Service, with the Bar Council Legal Aid Centre, they offer women in crisis Free legal advice in the areas of family, labour and immigration law. AWAM also provides both telephone and face-to-face counseling services free of charge. Any woman who needs assistance can either call the helpline Telenita [03 78770224] or make an appointment to see a social worker.
